Description

Nether Culzean is an unusual estate farmhouse, likely dating from the late 18th century. The building is harled and limewashed, with black painted stone dressings. It is a single storey structure featuring small hipped dormers and a five-window facade. The central doorway is flanked by triple sash windows. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and there are chimneys with rows of square brick stacks set diagonally. At the rear, there is a courtyard with byres. The farmhouse has been recently restored.
