Description

Circa 1863. Pair of single storey and attic, 3-bay cottages. Base course. Architraved windows at ground floor; canted dormers at attic.

SW (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central square-headed entrances to both cottages; timber doors; letterbox fanlights; flanking single windows; dormers aligned above at outer right and left at attic.

SE, NE AND NW ELEVATIONS: not seen 1999.

Lying-pane timber sash and case windows. Slate roof; stone skews; rooflights; ridge and gablehead stacks; predominantly polygonal cans. Cast-iron rainwater goods.

INTERIORS: not seen 1999.

GATEPIERS, GATE AND BOUNDARY WALL: square-plan gatepiers; ornate iron gate to No 4; various heights of boundary wall enclosing site.
