Description

Earlier 19th century. Irregular-plan walled garden measuring approximately 4200m?, forming point to SE and lean-to storage sheds to N exterior wall. Sandstone rubble; coped at apex.

GATEPIERS, GATES AND BOUNDARY WALL: stone square-plan gates to Monument Road entrance terminating low coped quadrant walls and vehicular and pedestrian entrances; 2-leaf timber gates; higher wall flanking; iron gatepiers to vehicular and pedestrian gates to Racecourse View; 2-leaf and single iron gates; higher rubble wall flanking.
