Description

Newton Cross, located on Main Street in Ayr, dates back to the 17th century and has undergone some later alterations. It features an original monolithic square-plan plinth that is set on a modern coursed base. The structure includes a chamfered square shaft, a cornice, and is topped with a ball-finial.
