Description

The Market Cross is a late medieval structure, likely rebuilt in the 18th century. It is made of limestone and features a triple stepped plinth that supports a cubical base. This base holds a four-sided tapering shaft, which has a damaged finial at the top. The Market Cross is also scheduled as an Ancient Monument.
