Description

Knockcushan House in Girvan is a mid-19th century building featuring two storeys and an attic, with a three-bay facade and extensive later additions at the rear. The entrance has a central pilastered doorpiece. To the left, there is a two-storey bay window with tripartite windows at the front. All windows are sashes set within moulded architraves, and there is a cill course beneath the first dormer. A band course runs above the ground floor, and the building has an eaves course, cornice, and blocking course. It has end stacks and a slate roof.
