Description

The outer walls and piers of Anton's Hill date from the earlier to mid 19th century. They feature square coping made of tooled rubble sandstone and flank the entrance to the northwest of Anton's Hill. The structure includes circular-plan outer piers topped with platformed, conical caps. There are also hemispherical caps on the circular-plan piers that connect the quadrant and outer walls, as well as circular-plan inner piers, which also have platformed, conical caps.
