Description
Lennel House is a large two-storey classical house that stands close to the road, featuring a walled forecourt and double gates. The building is constructed of ashlar and has sash windows, a parapet, and a moulded cornice, topped with a slate roof. The central porch is adorned with coupled columns and includes a doorway with a fanlight and side panels. There are modern office wings and stables located at the side of the house. Designed by John Paterson, the house has an interesting butterfly plan.
