Description

The Boathouse at Allanton is likely from the early 19th century. It is a single-storey, three-bay building made of rubble, located on land between the Whiteadder and Blackadder Waters, to the west of where they converge. The eastern elevation features a single window in the center, while the western elevation has an entrance flanked by windows. The roof is covered with pantiles and has rubble skews, along with an advanced chimney breast on the northern elevation.
