Description

Mid 19th century. Large 2-storey and loft space, 8-bay, rectangular-plan (splayed to E) former spinning mill range with double-pitched roof, positioned to S entrance of former Weensland Mill site. Central tripartite corniced doorpiece to principal (S) elevation with bridge over basement area; canted window to left bay of E gable end; large hoist doorways to right bay to ground, 1st and loft floors. Rubble stonework with sandstone and cement rendered quoins.

Predominantly 4-pane timber sash and case windows, timber panelled doors. Pitched slate roofs; rectangular corniced gable end stacks.

INTERIOR: Original ground floor level now heightened to be positioned above 1st floor windows. Full basement.
