14 Biggiesknowe, Peebles

14 Biggiesknowe is a late 18th century single-storey and basement cottage with three bays, situated on sloping ground to the south. The building is constructed of whinstone with cement margins, featuring dry dash on the sides and rear.

On the north elevation facing Biggiesknowe, there are two steps leading up to a deep-set panelled and glazed door at the center, flanked by windows, all set hard under the eaves. The basement windows are blocked, and there is a plaque to the left of the door. To the right, there is a low blank wall of a garage.

The west elevation features a piend-roofed garage, which was formerly a stable, with boarded doors that project at ground level to the left. The gable end of the house has a boarded door leading to the basement and a window on the principal floor.

The south elevation is irregular, with three windows grouped to the right on the principal floor and a blocked window to the left. At ground level, there is a door and two small windows. The garage is set back to the left and has a small window at its center.

The east elevation has a blank gable that adjoins No 16. The cottage features timber sash and case four-pane windows, grey slate roofing, and ashlar-coped rendered apex stacks.
