Description

H J Blanc, architect 1891. Baronial 2-storey and dormerless

attic L-plan lodge with single storey addition. Snecked

stugged ashlar with polished dressing. 2-storey flat roofed

porch fills re-entrant angle. Corniced doorpiece. Single

storey, parapetted canted window to east Cornice over

ground floor. Roll moulded reveals to doors and windows,

some of latter mullioned and transomed. Eaves cornice,

crowstepped gables to 3 sides and wallhead stacks to 2.

Single storey additions has piended slate roof.

Interior gutted. 2 outer ashlar gatepiers linked by concave

screen of railings to inner pair of iron gatepiers.
