Description

Probably built 1789. 2 storeys over basement, with attic, 3

bays. (Rubble-built) with painted ashlar margins. Central

door behind later pilastered wooden porch. Plate glass

sashes. Eaves course and cornice. 3 large, unsympathetic,

piended dormers. Straight skews, corniced end stacks and

slate roof. Conical-roofed stair tower to rear. Set behind

rubble-built wall with good late 18th century gothick ashlar

gatepiers. Iron lamp bracket forms overthrow arch to gateway.
