Description
This late 18th century building at 2 Church Street in Lochwinnoch is a two-storey and attic corner block. The elevation facing Main Street features three bays, with painted render and margins, and a painted droved ashlar curved bay at the angle with Church Street. The central door is flanked by shop windows, and there is a continuous fascia over the ground floor. The first floor has 12-pane sash windows. The building includes a pilastered doorcase, a blocked door that has been converted into a window, and a single first-floor window in the curved bay. It has an eaves course and cornice, with skews that curve over the corner, end stacks, and a slate roof. The gable facing Church Street is harled with painted margins, and there is a recessed door within the pilastered doorcase.
