Description
Glenlora House was rebuilt around 1840, possibly incorporating parts of an earlier farmstead. It is a square-plan, single-storey and loft stable block arranged around a courtyard. The building is constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings and features a variety of square-headed door and window openings, as well as two segmental cart openings. The entrance to the courtyard is located on the south wall, which is flanked by two square gatepiers topped with ball finials.
The east block of the building is partly used as a dwelling house, with door and window openings on either long wall. There is a re-set lintel from 1769 on the east elevation. The roofs throughout the building are covered with slate.
