Description

Boatland, located on Isla Road in Perth, is an early 19th century building featuring two storeys and a basement. It is constructed of rubble and has a broad-eaved slated roof. The south entrance front has three windows and a central doorpiece with an arched fanlight, which is enhanced by a glass porch addition. The river front showcases a three-window semi-circular bow along with one-window flanking sections. On the east front, there are two arched windows. The building has horizontally proportioned glazing and a fine interior that includes plaster rib vaulting in the entrance hall and a domed oval staircase.
