Description

Merryburn Hotel, located on Station Road in Birnam, was built around 1870. This two-storey building features a single block design with a rounded corner bay topped by a conical roof. The front has three windows and gables, and the exterior is finished in stugged ashlar, which has been recently painted, with a slated roof. The building has been re-categorised as C(S) from B for its group interest in 2006, and the listing applies to both the interior and exterior as appropriate for this type of building.
