Description

2 and 3 Birnam Terrace in Birnam is a long single-storey and attic terrace block built around 1860 to 1870. The building is set at a 150-degree angle, with a rounded corner. The westmost house features a V-plan oriel bay. It is constructed from rubble with a slated roof that includes masonry dormers. The listing was re-categorised from grade B to grade C(S) in 2006, specifically noting the group interest of the terrace. This designation applies to both the interior and exterior of the buildings, as is appropriate for this type of structure.
