Description
The Methven Aisle and Lynedoch Mausoleum, located in the churchyard of Methven Parish Church, was designed by James Playfair between 1792 and 1793. This neo-classical structure has a rectangular plan and features a very broad base with rusticated masonry that is heavily pulvinated. The roof is wide and has a corniced pediment. The mausoleum has an arched north doorway, with no other openings present.
