Description
Perth and Kinross Police Headquarters, known as Ardchoille House, was built in 1851, as indicated on the guttering. It features a Scots baronial style, likely designed by Andrew Hieton. The building is two stories tall, with an attic, and has an irregular L-shaped plan surrounding a north entrance forecourt. There is a single-storey service wing to the northeast and additional outbuildings, all constructed from rubble. The structure includes northwest and southwest corbelled angle turrets, attic gablets, crowstepped gables, and corbelled corners. The west front has two canted bays that are corbelled to a square, and the roofs are slated.
