Eaglesview, Upper Borland Park

Eaglesview, located in Upper Borland Park, is a cottage originally built around 1763, with a taller main house added at right angles in the early 19th century, forming an L-plan group. The main house was reconstructed in 1919 and is a single storey with an attic, constructed from rubble. It features two windows and a central segment-headed door with a fanlight, while the left-hand window has been altered to a bipartite design. There is a single slate-hung dormer at both the front and back, along with small attic windows in each gable and coped chimneys without skews. The original low cottage was re-roofed in 1919 and has been internally reconstructed more recently. The roofs are slated, and there are low rubble-built garden walls surrounding the property.
