Fort Lodge at Taymouth Castle is a single-storey cottage with an attic, constructed from rubble. It features an elaborate log-column rustic portico that has a high peind roof and undulating eaves. The design includes intricate wooden rustic arches, vaulting, and eaves. The building is likely from the late 1830s.
