Ecclesiamagirdle House

Ecclesiamagirdle House is a 17th-century T-plan building that stands two storeys high with an attic. It features a three-storey central entrance tower that has a corbelled turret stair at the attic level. The structure is built from rubble and has crowstepped gables. The entrance is moulded, with a recess above it flanked by Ionic colonnettes, although the coat of arms that once adorned it is now missing due to theft.

The dormer heads, which are original from the 19th century, are incorporated into the retaining wall at the modern entrance. There is one modern first-floor window in the north wall designed to match the original windows. Inside, the building retains original features such as ribbed ceilings alongside later additions. A 15th or 16th-century chimneypiece colonnette is built into the corners of the current harness room. Additionally, the 19th-century west office wing includes decorative horse heads.
