Description

  1. T-plan, 2-storey and attic with centre entrance

tower 3 storey with corbelled turret stair at attic level,

rubble-built and crowstepped. Moulded entrance with recess

above flanked by Ionic colonnettes; coat of arms missing

(stolen). Dormer heads 19th century originals built into

retaining wall at modern entrance. 1 modern 1st floor window

in N. wall to match originals. Original interior work

including ribbed ceilings with later additions, 15th/16th

century chimneypiece colonnette built into corners of

present harness room. 19th century W. office wing horses'

heads.
