Description
This is a simple half-storey farmstead built from rubble, dating from the mid-19th century. While the steading itself is not of special interest, it features a 10-foot diameter overshot waterwheel located some distance away, which is connected to a long wooden aqueduct. The waterwheel operates an underground countershaft drive to the steading. Although it is currently disused, the waterwheel remains in working order.
