Description
The Den is a mid-19th century Jacobean-style mansion house located on Kinnoul Terrace in Perth. The building is constructed from rubble and features advanced gabled bays on the river front, which include a canted bay and a shallow rectangular bay at the ground floor. The central doorpiece has been converted into a window and is adorned with consoles and a balcony above. On the first floor, there are single windows, with those in the gabled bays having hood moulds. The gable ends are finished with skewputts. At the rear, there are single-storey rubble-built wings, and the roofs have rolled skew-ends and are slated. The property is also surrounded by rubble-built garden walls.
