Darnick, Kinnoull Terrace, Perth

Darnick, located on Kinnoull Terrace in Perth, is a semi-detached building designed by Andrew Heiton around 1870, showcasing French Gothic architectural style with notable details. This large, two-storey structure is constructed from rubble with ashlar dressings. It features twin bow windows with three panes each, topped with conical roofs that have patterned slating and jerkin-headed gablets. The first floor includes balconies, while both the ground floor and first floor of the bows have segmentally-arched windows. There are two pointed arch jerkin head dormers on the first floor, and a side porch is situated in the re-entrant angle at Craigievar on the north side. The roofs are platformed and adorned with a wrought-iron parapet, and the overall roof is slated. Additionally, there are ashlar gatepiers and rubble garden walls surrounding the property.
