Description
St Kattan's Chapel in Aberuthven is a late medieval ruin constructed from rubble, measuring 65 feet 2 inches by 21 feet 9 inches externally. It features a 17th-century bellcote on the west gable. The chapel has skewputs at the west gable and twin ogee-headed lancets at the east gable. The south wall is partly demolished, and doorways leading to vaults were formed in the church around 1820 to 1840, with the western vault said to be barrel vaulted. Additionally, there is an aumbry on the north wall.
