The stables at Ochtertyre House are designed in a U-plan and constructed from whin rubble with pinnings. The building is primarily single storey, but features a later addition in the center that is two storeys high, along with two-storey wings. Notable architectural details include fan tracery in the arches of the carriage shed, and the stables date back to around 1790.
