The building is a sawmill located in Trinafour, Glen Errochty, dating from 1858. It is a plain rectangular structure with a peind roof. The sawmill features a 12-foot diameter, 6-foot wide undershot waterwheel, which is primarily wooden, except for the central shaft and countershaft drive. The sawmill is currently disused.
