Description

Garden Gate, located on Smiddy Bank in South Ronaldsay, is a 17th century structure featuring rusticated stonework. It has a moulded cornice and is topped with a heraldic panel that is dated 1633 and 1693, supported by scrolls. The gate also includes a segmental pediment adorned with a figure of a mermaid.
