Swanson House, located on Front Road in St Margaret's Hope, South Ronaldsay, is a traditional building from the later 18th century. It stands at 2 and a half storeys high and is constructed of rubble. The building features a corbie-stepped gable facing the road and is roofed with Caithness slates.
