Description

Earlier 19th century with later alterations. 2-storey, 3-bay rectangular-plan, symmetrical house (Number 11) abutting 2-storey, 2-bay house to right, (Number 9), built on ground falling to W, forming small terrace; pedestrian gate to left. Harled with cement dressings; harl-pointed rubble to E. Eaves course. Plain margins to openings to Number 11.

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: NUMBER 11: timber-panelled door with letterbox fanlight at ground in bay to centre; window at 1st floor above. Window at each floor in each bay flanking. Boarded pedestrian gate giving access to rear to outer left; high harled wall adjoining screen wall to Number 13 (listed separately). NUMBER 9: timber-panelled door with 2-pane fanlight at ground in bay to left; window at 1st floor above. Window at each floor in bay to right.

E AND W (SIDE) ELEVATIONS: blank; gablehead stacks.

12-pane timber sash and case windows to Number 11; 2- over single-pane timber sash and case windows to Number 9. Grey slate roof; stone ridge; harled, corniced gablehead stacks to E and W; similar mutual ridge stack; uPVC rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1998.
