Description
Meikle Hareshaw is an early 19th century single-storey farmhouse featuring a U-plan steading. The structure is built from limewashed rubble with painted margins. The house has a central door flanked by 12-pane sash windows in the outer bays. Originally, there were linking doors to the steading in the corners, but the door on the left has been converted into a window. The west range includes two tiers of rectangular ventilation openings, while the east range has a large central cart opening, two doors, and two "arrow-slit" ventilators. Additionally, there is a later wing to the north, and the roofs are covered with slate throughout.
