Description
Calder Bridge is a single segmental-span ashlar bridge built after 1823 by engineer Thomas Telford and master mason John Brownlie. It spans the South Calder water and features pilaster strips on either side of the arch, with a band course above. The bridge has splayed and sloping abutments.
