Vine Cottage, 307 Kirk Road, Wishaw

Vine Cottage is a late 19th century single-storey cottage located at 307 Kirk Road in Wishaw. It features a symmetrical, rectangular plan with coursed stone and ashlar quoins and margins. The design includes a decorative blind arcade effect created by ashlar carving at the wallhead between the openings.

On the south elevation, there is a stone step leading to a centrally placed square-headed door. Above the door is a carved segmental panel featuring a prominent mask and flanking foliate designs. The elevation also includes bipartite stone-mullioned windows and a moulded cornice above. To the far right, the name 'VINE COTTAGE' is carved above a blind panel.

The north, east, and west elevations are constructed of squared random rubble, with the north elevation being fenestrated. The cottage has modern plate glass windows and a graded grey slate roof, complemented by sandstone coped gable end stacks and skews, topped with square-based white clay pots.

The interior was not seen in 2000.
