The Nardini Lounge, located at 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 Nelson Street in Largs, is a large single-storey café and restaurant built in 1935 by C Davidson and Sons. This 1930s modern building occupies a corner site and features a white-rendered framed construction base, with sections of red brick and black granite. It has large windows, and the bays are divided by stepped tall buttresses that support flagpoles. The shop is situated on the canted corner, topped with a parapet and a raised sign, and the roof is concealed. The main entrance to the café is recessed on the Greenock Road elevation, which includes a platform area for outdoor seating. The eastmost wide bay of the south elevation, facing Nelson Street, serves as the front for the restaurant. The interior of the building is important and has remained largely unaltered.
