Description

This mid 19th century house at 2 Nelson Street in Largs is a two-storey building with an attic over a basement, featuring three bays. The exterior is finished in painted ashlar with decorative dressings. A central door is accessed by steps and is framed by a Roman Doric engaged columned doorpiece with an entablature. The house has six-pane upper sashes throughout, with channelled angle margins, an eaves course, a cornice, and a blocking course. There are two box dormers, end stacks, and a slate roof.
