Description
The war memorial, located at Whiting Bay Church on the Isle of Arran, dates to approximately 1920. It is constructed of grey granite, featuring a rubble plinth with a bull-faced base. The main shaft is polished and bears an irregular edge with inscriptions. The memorial’s design incorporates a gun and wreath motif, which is similar to that found at the war memorial at Bennecarrigan.
