Description
The former Seafield Church of Scotland in Portknockie, designed by William Robertson in 1838, is a rectangular building that has been converted into a house. It features long elevations on the north and south sides and a gabled porch on the east. The structure is built of rubble with tooled ashlar dressings. The entrance porch includes a side doorway and a round-headed window with a hoodmould. There are four long, narrow hoodmoulded windows on the north and south elevations, along with a similar two-light former gallery window in the east gable, which now has modern glazing. A crocketted bellcote is located at the east end, and the roof is covered with modern concrete tiles. Additionally, there is a large garage door inserted into the lower part of the rear gable, and the property is enclosed by a wall.
