Description
2 East Street in Fochabers is a terrace of three houses, built around 1860. These two-storey homes face east and each has a single wide bay. At the ground level, there is a door and a three-light window, while the first floor features two-light windows. The houses are constructed of random rubble laid in courses, with long and short ashlar dressings. The entrances are canopied and have slate roofs, with plank doors. The windows are either eight or twelve-pane casements. Decorative bargeboards can be seen, along with remnants of apex pendant finials. The houses have coped end and ridge stacks, and the roofs are slate with projecting eaves.
