Description

2 Maxwell Street in Fochabers is a terrace of three houses built around 1860. These two-storey homes face south and each features a single wide bay. At the ground floor, there is a door alongside a three-light window, while the first floor has two-light windows. The houses are constructed from random rubble laid in courses, with long and short ashlar dressings. The entrances have slated canopies and plank doors. The windows are eight- and twelve-pane casements, and the decorative bargeboards show remnants of apex pendant finials. The houses have coped end and ridge stacks, with slate roofs that have projecting eaves.
