Description

40 Yardie in Buckie is a single-storey house built in 1841, which has since been raised to include a dormerless attic. The house has three bays and faces east. It is constructed from squared tooled rubble with tooled ashlar dressings, and the south gable, which faces the main road, is rendered and lined to resemble ashlar. The entrance is centrally located and features a simple panelled door with a pilastered doorpiece, along with a panelled door. The windows have four-pane glazing. The house has coped end stacks and a slate roof.
