Description
4 New Street in Findochty is a cottage originally dated 1844, which was raised to two storeys in the later 19th century. The building features three bays and is constructed of mixed squared rubble with painted tooled margins and later concrete dressings. The central entrance has a panelled door, and there are later 19th century gabled dormers in the outer bays, along with 12-pane glazing. The cottage has end stacks, with the southern stack heightened, and a slate roof. Additionally, there is a single storey, single bay extension at the north gable.
