Description
This late 18th century rustic bridge features a semi-circular arched, single span design over the River South Esk. It is constructed from unhewn stones arranged randomly to promote the growth of moss and ferns. The bridge has a rusticated arch ring and remnants of a flat, ashlar-coped parapet. Additionally, it includes splayed wing walls and rusticated terminal piers topped with polished caps.
