Watch House And Churchyard, Old Parish Church, Glencorse

The Watch House and churchyard of the Old Parish Church in Glencorse date from the earlier 18th century and have undergone some alterations. The Watch House is a single-storey structure built from sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings, accompanied by a stone boundary wall.

On the south elevation, there is a later door and a blocked rectangular window to the right, both featuring stone lintels. The east elevation is blank, with a gable head that includes a stack and modern security lighting at the gable head. The north elevation has a coursed ashlar rear with no features and a memorial wall adjacent to it. The west elevation was not seen.

The original glazing pattern and roof have been lost. The interior was not seen.

The kirkyard features numerous "trade" gravestones and sepulchral monuments, along with rubble boundary walls topped with copes.
