Description
The Lodge at Auchenbothie House on Port Glasgow Road in Kilmacolm is a detached single-storey cottage built between 1901 and 1902. It was designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh as the cottage for Auchenbothie House, which was constructed in 1898 by William Leiper. The cottage features a roughcast exterior, a sloping buttress on the west elevation, a steeply pitched slated roof, and deeply set windows located just beneath the eaves.
