Description

Finlaystone House is a classical mansion built in 1764 by John Douglas. It has three storeys and attic dormers, with Baronial Revival additions made in 1872 and further work by Sir John James Burnet between 1898 and 1903. The house is constructed of stone and features large circular, slated towers at each corner. The walls have a rough cast facing.
