Description
18 Sinclair Terrace in Wick is a two-storey, three-bay house built around 1830. It has a rectangular plan and features a tripartite design with a gabled roof. The central bay is slightly advanced and has a pediment above. The exterior is harled with coursed Caithness stone slabs, and there is a base course along the bottom. The openings have raised, blocked margins.
On the northeast (principal) elevation, the central bay contains a panelled door with a letterbox fanlight above it. There are narrow blind bays flanking the door, with a window above. The eaves are broken by a cavetto moulded pediment. The flanking bays have regular fenestration, except for a large plate glass window on the ground floor to the right.
The southeast (side) elevation is adjacent to No 17, while the northwest (side) elevation is next to No 19. The southwest (rear) elevation was not seen in 2001, and the interior was also not seen at that time.
The house features plate glass sash and case windows, concrete tiles, coped skews, gable stacks, and cast-iron rainwater goods.
