Description
These are a pair of mid-19th century, single-storey, three-bay cottages situated at 1 Kelso Lodge Cottages, New Kelso. Both cottages face south, with their rear elevation overlooking a driveway. The cottages are harled. The east cottage features a corrugated iron, gabled porch that obscures the central door, and an adjoining single-storey kennel wing built onto the east gable. The west cottage has a modern lean-to addition, incorporating a bathroom and entrance porch that masks the central door. Both cottages have corniced end stacks, and are covered by slate roofs. The cottages are listed for their group value. The statutory address is New Kelso Driveway Pair Estate Cottages.
