Description
Our Lady Of The Braes Roman Catholic Church is a plain, lancet-Gothic church believed to date from 1872. It is spectacularly situated on a hilltop above Loch Ailort. The church features a steep gabled roof with cross finials and has a rectangular plan with three buttressed bays. The entrance is located in the liturgical west gable, which is actually the east gable, and there is a lower chancel. The building is constructed of rubble and has slate roofs.
